Most of my writing and editing experience is B2B and B2C marketing copy in the fields of international travel and technical training, but I have:
-
- handled all content for a travel company’s website—optimized for SEO—for several years
- proofed package inserts for pharmaceutical products, where every detail could be life-or-death important
- written a software user manual
- created many, many email blasts
- compiled an online collection of recipes
- produced successful government proposals
- transformed one IT-related article into three
- proofread some book manuscripts on etymology
- extensively edited two novels
- provided detailed feedback on everything from résumés to film scripts
- copy-edited an entire issue of a technical management journal
- etc. etc. etc.
Of course I can follow the usual standard or industry-specific style guides, plus I have produced style sheets for specific organizations who needed them. The point is: you name it, I’ve probably done it or something like it.
Sorry, I cannot research or write your academic paper. When you’re married to a professor, that is definitely grounds for divorce.
